AIRBAG RACE SUIT
We present top-class suits with the integrated TECH-AIR® electronic airbag system. The system was developed by the Italian company Alpinestars, drawing on extensive road and race experience. The TECH-AIR® system is designed primarily for the track, though with the option of switching between RACE and STREET modes. Software algorithms monitor dangerous situations, typical for the given environment, and loaded appropriately in each mode.
RACING GRID AIRBAG
RACING GRID AIRBAG is the one-piece race suit model, in the PSi® collection, with an integrated TECH-AIR® system. The suit was designed, from the start, for use with the airbag and comes complete with the system installed. Preparation consists of placing leather stretch panels in places needed to accommodate bag inflation, along with an implementation kit utilising LEDs on the sleeve, for monitoring the system status.
TECH-AIR® RACE AIRBAG SYSTEM
Software controlled TECH-AIR® airbag system from ALPINESTARS. Does not restrict movement. Super-fast inflation. Works with accelerometer and gyroscope sensors, and does not require a GPS connection. User friendly operation, switchable between RACE and STREET modes depending on riding style. An airbag system integrated directly in the suit or jacket.
Airbag System - TECH-AIR®10 RACE
The latest airbag from Alpinestars, providing the most comprehensive coverage of all currently available systems. Protection is provided to not only the upper half of the body but additionally the full back and hips. Intended for use with sport and race suits. The software’s intelligent crash detection algorithms were developed using data based on feedback from hundreds of professional racers. RACE mode solely for the track and STREET for all other occasions.
PSí HUBÍK s.r.o. have been an official certified partner for the implementation of Alpinestars TECH-AIR® airbag systems in PSi® products since 2018. They are the first service centre for airbag systems in the Czech Republic, providing customers a 10-working day turnaround time.
